We honor our vets with picnics and barbecues. Which is all well and good.
But the best way to honor our vets is to give them good medical and emotional care. They have lost so much. The government should not be taking away the simple pleasures in life. Limiting home passes is just the beginning. Imagine that you could no longer go to birthday parties, weddings, funerals of your loved ones. Or to have to choose which event you have to miss.
Veterans in homes have lost so much. Now they have little choice with daily life decisions. Many have lost the choice of what to eat, what to buy, and so many other freedoms that they fought for.
